Loot v4.0

Loot Rules

<The Chosen> has adopted a Loot Council system for its reincarnation on Northcraft WoTLK. The details of how this system operates is outlined below:

The Loot Council:

The Loot Council is comprised of the officer corps & the Guild Leader.

Distribution of Loot:

While it has been a long time philosophy of The Chosen that "there is no such thing as fair," it is the expectation of all members of the raid, and the Guild Leadership,  to make a 'best effort' attempt to be as fair as possible when it comes to loot distribution. That being said, there will be times when the guild's needs supersede the needs of others (i.e. gearing tanks/healers over others, etc.). These needs are expected to be recognized and accepted by all raiders in the guild.

The loot council will have readily available information with regard to loot prioritization so that raiders have some sort of expectation of when they will be receiving loot.

The process of loot distribution is outlined as follows:

- The boss dies and the Master Looter links all items in /ra chat.
- The loot council will nominate raiders that should receive the item in /o chat.
- A vote will be held for loot distribution
- In the event of a tie, a random raid member will be selected (by /roll 10 or 25) and they will be asked to vote to break the tie.
- Loot is awarded, the raid moves on.
- All decisions are final.

PvP Loot - If you are interested in obtaining PvP-oriented loot from raids, please be sure to make your class leader aware of this so that PvP items can be awarded to those who will use them.

* Should there be an issue with loot distribution, please contact an officer. Drama with regard to loot is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. *

Record Keeping:

The Chosen will be utilizing RealmPlayers.com and Legacy-Logs.com for tracking overall performance and loot distribution. Internal record keeping will be in the form of a loot spreadsheet that is updated periodically.

Any other scenario that arises that is not covered by these rules will be left to GM and Officer discretion.
